Chapter 283: Tempestuous

Sesshoumaru was coherent enough to grasp that Sango was genuinely distressed for him. He didn’t know what to do with the woman’s tempestuous mood. Since when did he matter to her?

“Kohaku should have come. Should I go get my brother?”

“He followed on Shishi.” Sesshoumaru nodded in the pertinent direction. “They are near.”

Shippo craned and sniffed. “You sure? How can you tell?”

“He is part of me. I am part of him.”

Kohaku’s sister looked startled.

Sesshoumaru grimly held her gaze, awaiting her response.

“Good for you.” Lightly touching his arm, Sango murmured, “Good for both of you.”
