LMM 160: Idle Hands

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one with time on his hands.

Idle Hands

“One other thing, then,” warned Jacques. “He is bored.”

“You expect this to cause problems?”

“Boredom led directly to some of my greatest debacles,” he assured. “Also, I suspect our guest secretly wants to be noticed.”

Argent hummed. “Entertain him.”

Moi? How?”

“He is a dragon,” Argent drawled, as if that made everything clear.

Ah, perhaps it did.

“Admire him. Accommodate his every whim.” Based on his scanty experience with dragons, Jacques ventured, “Supply him with paperback romances?”

Argent turned before the mirror, a pained expression on his face. “Sinder is a very modern dragon. The wifi password should suffice.”

  2. This is my favorite chapter ever, lol. I can only wonder at who Sinder would try to friend on Facebook and what kind of mischief he would get into responding to Reddit questions.

  3. Wifi password indeed… I wonder how many searches would have done Tsumiko about Amaranthine by now. She had no computers at school, but I think she may have catched up by now 😂 I’ve missed the daily chapters routine, thanks for the new one 😍
