She would have thought it obvious. “Touch me.”
“Can you be more specific?” He eased closer, cautiously taking her hand. “I… don’t want to presume.”
Sesshoume’s brows arched. Did he expect her to beg?
“I want to touch you and hold you, but I don’t want to make things worse. Will you teach me about inuyoukai?”
She fought for calm. Why should she explain ancient customs to a mere human? She growled menacingly.
Kagomaru didn’t flinch or flee, but his eyes grew wide… and sad. “Please?”
“This,” Sesshoume snarled through clenched teeth, “is how you beg.”

I always felt as if the jump from Ch47 to Ch48 was too abrupt in the 2011 version, so I took the liberty of “fixing” it. Hence the day-late, brand-spankin’ new chapter. ::twinkle::
